Ingredients
2 lb Chinese cabbage
1/2 c Salt
1 Clove garlic; minced
1 tb Sugar
1 qt Water
1 1/2 Hot red peppers; seed; crush
1 ts Fresh ginger; minced
Instructions
Wash cabbage. Cut into 1 1/2″ pieces. Sprinkle with salt. Add water and let
stand overnight. Rinse cabbage thoroughly and drain. Make a paste of the
rest of the ingredients and rub into cabbage slices. Pack into quart jar
and cover with plastic bag to prevent odor…Ready in 4 to 5 days.
